Dark Alma

Dark Alma is a project created in our university for us to heavily experiments with unreal engine and what it can do. The project was inspired by Dark Souls 1 which served as a base for the creation.

The Game:

Enjoy a short but sweet experience in which you battle through a temple and its guardians, eventually facing off against the Temple Leader who is more then ready to use nefarious magic against you should you prove troublesome. 

Features:

• Four different AI types:
  • Two minions (Ranged and Melee)
  • A two stage boss battle (Melee focused, Magic focused)
• Beautiful map
• Souls like combat
• Intricate UI.

• Controller Support (Xbox Only)

Controls:

• Move - WASD
• Attack - LMB
• Lock-on - Tab
• Heal - Q
• Roll - Spacebar

(Keyboard mappings can be changed in game)

Please Note:

This game is in current development, the version you have access to may contain bugs we have not encountered, or are actively trying to fix. Thank you for your patience. 

Known Bugs:

• Rare bug where, second phase does not spawn (To fix, fall off cliff and restart)
• Character selection camera doesn't pan. (Can still select Character without camera)
• Restart Boss battle phase 2 menu option doesn't work (To fix, fall off cliff and restart)
• Controller does not work with menu (Use mouse whilst using menus)
• Language Selection doesn't work at the moment
• Impact Audio and VFX trigger when rolling but no damage is taken

Download from the link below.  We must apologize and state that as this is an Unreal Engine project, the download is fairly large at (6.92)Gb unzipped. Actions will be taken in future to reduce this to an acceptable size.
